then take a le nap

Argh, working is tough sometimes oh hell who am I kidding, my work is easy. Honestly. Yesterday, I watched Kung-Fu Panda. And like got paid for it and it was a cute movie. Today I uh. Did not do much I tell ya.
Today me and mom were in Bi-Mart and I was deciding on beef jerky (Pepperoni vs. Teriyaki if Pepperoni is on sale and Teriyaki even if Teriyaki is better? Teriyaki. Man once you type Teriyaki enough it looks weird. Like, am I spelling that right?) and then I found here in the greeting card aisle. There are few things that annoy me more then greeting cards. Seriously. They're shit. So I went on a loud, long-winded rant about how they make me despair for the future of humanity in the store.
I am crocheting socks, again, what up, to go along with the Ravelry Teens Knit and Crochet Group Summer Sock KAL/CAL. Damn. Long title. Anyway, it's a bit tricky but prolly a lot less trickier then actually knitting socks.
AND AND AND in Doctor Who Obsession News, I've finished my Doctor doll and he's adorable. Well. Finished. His jacket isn't done yet because I stopped to knit my dad's father's day gift (a remote control caddy, he loved it) and now I'm doing socks so it'll be a while still. Goshdarn cute. ANDANDAND I've figured out what yarn I need/want for my Doctor Who Scarf. Cascade 220 in the colors that TARDIS-Tara recommends off on Ravelry. She's wonderful. And it won't cost me so much, I think, only about 50 bucks (because I also want a good pair of needles, circs from KnitPicks, those harmony wood ones)
I'm like bored because my paycheck hasn't come in yet. Grr.
There's nothing on TV in summer. Well, Thursdays has Burn Notice and Royal Pains and Burn Notice is fucking spectacular and Royal Pains is adequate. Tonight, I think, is ah America's Got Talent, which I used to watch but now I get tired just watching the commercials, and Fox has Mental. I watched that last week. It was uneven, picked up storylines then dropped them just as quickly, didn't fully flesh out what was really wrong with that kid, and then gave everything a neat and wrapped ending without really explaining it. But I didn't hate it. The lead guy is British and funny and cute. And I am a teenage girl. So there you are. ABC is a wasteland of bad shows and bad reality shows and bad game shows and bad celebrity shows in the summer. It's that the rest of the time, too. 'cept for Lost and Scrubs.
I'm gonna go crochet socks and eat beef jerky. A fine evening.
