At dad's. Arby's for dinner. Blake's at a sleepover and so dad and Sandy and I were gonna go to a movie at like 9.20 but I was like, I am all for late movies but not late shitty late movies like 2012. Yes. They were gonna go see 2012. Ugh.
So then I was pretty set on knitting gloves with some Noro yarn and couldn't quite find a pattern I liked..and so I'm gonna knit a iphone sock/cozy Frazier who saw mine and was like, make me one? So I am with some pretty Noro.

I've listened to..Revolver, Help! a few of the Past Masters tracks, and now I'm listening to Hard Day's Night. All the Mono Remasters which someone has ever so kindly posted on Youtube. Thank you, internet. Fuck, I love the mono versions. They're spectacular. Grrr.

So I don't know how big an iphone is. But it seems to be about the same size as my ipod, just a little...er, wider...ish, but slimmer? And grr. Well. Ah. Let's see. This one for my ipod is 32 on size 4s I think- and my ipod is chunky. So maybe..that would work. It's a 2x2 rib. Maybe if I did the body part in stockinette and the top bit in rib, in a 1x1 rib or a 1x3? Then I could do like...34 or 25 stitches. That might work. ..this is me being grumpy. See it's pretty slim.

Do you know what's a really good song? I've Just Seen A Face. The Across the Universe version a little better then the original...I feel as if I'm a traitor just saying that but I like it a lot better. Is good either way though. I want to learn it on the uke...oh, hey. Tabs. and the Ukulele Mike guy on youtube (awesome uke vids) has a tuturial. Internet. I love you.

It is almost sad that while shopping for t-shirts online, I have no idea what size to get unless I compare it to shirt.woot's sizing, because I know what sizes those are.
Also I am listening to the Dr. Horrible soundtrack and I know all the words. Still. BEST thing ever. Dr. Horrible.
Yesterday, went shopping: got pants (3), sweatshirt, jacket, harry potter candy, koolaid.
Now looking online for belts and apparently buttons and Firefly t-shirts. Then I'm gonna watch Firefly. And I did not notice the Firefly/Dr. Horrible connection. Nathan Fillion is brainwashing me. I think.
I keep getting distracted. BELTS I need belts. So far I've got two in my cart (on bodypunks.com), a tiger-striped canvas one and a (oh gosh, So They Say is my favorite Dr. Horrible song. Perfect Story. or Everyone's A Hero.) black and white one. I think that's good for now. And a David Bowie button. OR TWO DAVID BOWIE BUTTONS I cannot help it, he is delicious. I want the one where he a pirate. Pirate Bowie. With a eyepatch.
I'm really awful at shopping. IRL and online. IRL I get tired and lazy and very 'meh' and online I get distracted very easily--I should buy some yarrn...NO. BELTS.

I was on tvguide.com, looking for something to watch (Masterpiece Theatre is on the TV right now, Poirot just shut up and tell everyone who killed that person for god's sake) and there was a movie on Scifi called Dog Soldiers, starring Sean Pertwee. Two thoughts occured to me: ahaha, dog soldiers, wtf scifi? and Pertwee is not a very common last name, is it? That guy has to be related to Jon Pertwee, the third Doctor. Then I was like wow I am a geek for knowing this. I looked it up, Sean Pertwee is Jon Pertwee's son.

I am reading this book, Daughter of Fortune, that I started out mildly liking but now I am liking it a lot. It's about this girl in like 1850 in Chile and she falls in love with this guy and she follows him out to California during the gold rush. And there's actually a lot more to it then that, there's lots of interlocking characters and stories and stuff and it's reallyy really good and now I want to read more women-in-the-west-y type things, does anybody have any suggestions I wonder. Last summer I was on a women-pirate kick. Re-read all the Jacky Faber books. Good stuff.

I'm finally getting my paycheck this week. Oh. Yes. I get all excited about it then I think, will money really make me happy? Then I think. Maybe. It'll help.
