That's a line from A Very Potter Musical I just caught myself singing. "Granger Danger" is the song, one of my favorites so far, in that I have watched the first act. It. Is. AWESOME.
So well the things is, I start school on the 26th and I JUST FOUND OUT there is gonna be a TWENTY FOUR HOUR FRANK SINATRA MOVIE MARATHON on TCM on AUGUST 28. WHAT THE HELL, TCM. COULD YOU SCHEDULE THIS A LITTLE BETTER. LIKE MEBBE THE 25th. Needless to say I will apparently be watching 18 hours of this. I am contemplating missing school. Well, here's the schedule.

BW-90 mins, TV-G, CC -I've only seen bits and pieces of this and want to watch the whole thing so I am apparently going to wake up at 6 in the morning for this. YESS.

A pair of sailors on leave try to help a movie extra become a singing star. Cast: Gene Kelly, Frank Sinatra, Kathryn Grayson. Dir: George Sidney. C-139 mins, TV-G, CC
-I've honestly seen this about 3 times and I STILL LOVE IT. Crazy amounts of love for Gene Kelly and Sinatra dancing together. Even though when it comes to singing, Sinatra > Kelly but it's the opposite for dancing, so everything evens out.
2:00 PM On the Town (1949)
Three sailors wreak havoc as they search for love during a whirlwind 24-hour leave in New York City. Cast: Gene Kelly, Frank Sinatra, Vera-Ellen. Dir: Gene Kelly, Stanley Donen. C-98 mins, TV-G, CC, DVS
-Again, only seen bits and pieces of, but I really do just love seeing Sinatra and Kelly in Navy uniforms jaunting about. Always a good time for all involved.
4:00 PM Take Me Out to the Ball Game (1949)
A beautiful woman takes over a turn-of-the-century baseball team. Cast: Gene Kelly, Frank Sinatra, Esther Williams. Dir: Busby Berkeley. C-93 mins, TV-G, CC

A U.S. military troop takes command of a band of Burmese guerillas during World War II. Cast: Frank Sinatra, Gina Lollobrigida, Steve McQueen. Dir: John Sturges. C-125 mins, TV-PG, CC, Letterbox Format
-This looks like a military-ish one, so I probably start watching it and lose interest. Still.
8:00 PM Some Came Running (1958)
A veteran returns home to deal with family secrets and small-town scandals. Cast: Frank Sinatra, Shirley MacLaine, Dean Martin. Dir: Vincente Minnelli. C-136 mins, TV-PG, CC, Letterbox Format

- Re: movie plot: huh? Maybe not watching, also since it's 4:30 in the morning but it is a Saturday.
Okay, yes. I AM A FRANK SINATRA GEEK. I was just reading a book about him. BY his daughter. Very interesting. My favorite Sinatra book I've read is The Way He Wears His Hat which was the first one I read. It mentioned nothing of his Mob ties or beating people up or adultery or alleged Communism. And then I read HIS WAY or something and it freaked me out, saying he beat up a reporter and cheated on his wife NUMEROUS TIMES but now I'm used to it More often the not, I am rather obsessed with Mr Sinatra. And by association, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr, and all their movies and songs.
