at dad's

So I've spent most of my evening here at father's making Beatles Sims and then taking pictahs of them. And so I'm doing a blog story thingy on the sim beatles. Dunno what to call it though. thebeatleassims...no that looks like the beatles ass ims. Mhm. Will ponder it over night while the screenshots upload. Sigh. To bed now.
...
I have I Think Therefore I Rock and Roll stuck in my head. 'To be or not to be, I don't care. The question is, are you alive out there?' is pretty good- senior quote good enough? 'It don't take much, just heart and soul, I think, therefore, I rock and roll.' I can't help loving this song.

procrastinating

I've got this essay that was due today that I don't really wanna due and then email to my teacher. I'm very lazy. And tired. and i wanna knit. Damndamndamn.
I love Help!. It is less awesome than A Hard Day's Night but still pretty awesome. It has the Beatles so it can't be that bad, ha. And there's lots of George and random George-ness. I want to make a video compilation of the weird things he's doing in that movie- srsly, I'm gonna learn Windows Movie Maker so I can do that. Argh.
Terrible day. Need to watch AHDN or listen to Rubber Soul or With the Beatles or something, make it all better (every day, it's getting better, it's getting better all the tiime)
I was in the school library in advisory today- Can't Buy Me Love came on the stereo system, ever so faintly- but I picked up on it and started mouthing the words and tapping my foot along. Never figured out if it was a cd or just the radio.
hour later: i've decided I need a Beatles shirt. I'd kill for this adorable one in a adult's size. A is for Apple, B is for Beatles! but alas, only a toddler's shirt. I want the Help! motif thing on black but all it comes on is white- and I don't want like the generic The Beatles black one, youknow. This one is Help on blue. OMG. Beatles Shoelaces. Yellow Submarine in Japanese! Aha! Help on Dark blue in Women's, even. Wonder if there's a size chart? Shirtneeeed.

today, being a dork in many ways

In advisory today, instead of hanging around going nothing, I asked to go to the library and was told I'd have to take the pass and come back before class ends. I was like, oh okay. Then I just left. And didn't come back. In the library- I was in the armchair thing, reading In His Own Write, and half of it is WTH LENNON and the other half is ahh lol. Anyway- it's the two books together, some thing they put out when he died, I think, and it's a got a bad pic of Lennon on the front, but yah, anyway, so I'm reading this, or trying to anyway, and one of the teachers- the PE teacher ( also, they guy who did the Bantams website and then they told him he didn't have the job anymore so he said, then no more website, and he deleted all of his, so, basically, he's a BAMF) comes up to be and asks, "do you like john lennon stuff or the beatles?" and so I was like, "err all the beatles yeah." and then we had sort of a conversation about books on John Lennon before he wandered off. Too bad. I would totally have loved to continue geek-freaking over the Beatles with him. I already knew he was a fan- I had him as a PE teacher a few years back so it became obvious when all he played was Beatles stuff.

Instead of going to 4th hour- my voice is shot, anyway- I went to the library and printed off coloring sheets. Batman, Land Before Time, Harry Potter, Jack Sparrow, the Lion King, and two Beatles ones (which exist. and are weird. google it.) and then I spent lunch and 5th hour coloring in Beatles in wacky colors. Ringo has blue hair. And Paul has pick socks. I get so friggin' bored sometimes.

Also, buying things on Amazon? Too easy. Right now I'm getting Anthology 3, Lennon: Lennon Legend, and Paul's albums: Flaming Pie and Band on the Run. wanted to get I Me Mine but it's like 10 bucks and that's like way over my price limit now- I made an expection for Anthology Tres cos it's 2 cds! for 15 dollars. But Lennon was 5 and Flaming Pie is like 1 and BotR is like 4. Yeah I know. I spend too much money. Beatles obsession costs way too much.

200th post, weekend

Aha, 200 posts. All of them, pointless and rambling.
I was pretty sick yesterday- in bed all day and then asleep for 12 hours. Feeling better. Still Beatles-crazy. Today I found the Powerpuff Girls episode Meet the Beat-Alls that's filled with Beatles references it's crazy awesome.
Killing time till woot goes live, alala.
I love Anthology. The acoustic of Strawberry Fields Forever and grr, the, the, holy shit, Day in the Life take from Anthology 2 is effing scary- at one point the they just make a fucking ruckus and again at the end of Penny Lane, weird panting noises and some random noise- and Paul says, "That's a suitable ending I think." and at the end of Strawberry Fields Forever, demo or take 4 or something, the whole 'cranberry sauce' is repeated over and over and it's not I BURIED PAUL, it's definetly cranberry sauce.
Knitting a yellow hat. For kicks.
Watching American Dad, they had this bit- Mind Quad, this guy who didn't have arms or legs but had mind powers. IT NEEDS TO HAPPEN AS A REAL SHOW. Like, like that show Ben Stiller did that had one episode- err, with Jack Black and Owen Wilson, ahahh, I forget it now, but Owen Wilson was Jack Black's motorycle and Jack Black had an expanding brain at night and the government was after them, fuckfuck...it was err- HEAT VISION AND JACK. Very weird, but extremely awesome.
Oh I should--find something to watch and knit. And eat icecream. Nothing else to do.
I have watched Help! and A Hard Day's Night way too many times to count. I know all/most of the lines. "The fire brigade got me head out of some railings once." "Did you want them to?" "Not really, I put it there when I wasn't using it. You can see alot of the world from railings." RINGO LOVE! "What's that hairstyle called?" "Arthur." "How did you find America?" "Turn left at Greenland."
Goodnight then.

i find myself becoming more and more obsessed with the beatles

This is not a bad thing. In fact, The Beatles are brilliant. (is it The Beatles or just the Beatles?) It's just, when I become obsessed with something, I become obsessed. And in short bursts, usually. Yesterday it was A Very Potter Musical and then last night I watched The Beatles Anthology on VH1 and wham, again, Beatles obsession. Mostly centering around John Lennon. Who's a fucking genius. I spent my 5th hour class (foods, where we watched a video on sanitary blah blah) drawing John Lennon, with the bowl hair cut and the suit, labeled 'pre-groovy'. His eyes were tricky to get, he has very nice eyes. And now I'm pre-ordering the remastered albums from Amazon (Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band and maybe Abbey Road). I can't fucking help it, they're so awesome. I really like With A Little Help From My Friends.

I don't like school, in general, but it's not too unbearable. Shock! It has something to do with the disctict lack of MATH and also I don't have much friends in any of my classes. I call this a win because it turns out I don't like a lot of my friends. I find it preferable, usually, to spend the hour reading or ignoring the teacher or not working, but I do have to work sometime.

There might be something in the oven cooking but then I would have to get up and look at the oven and open it. Surely it's too hot for being in school already. Holy shit.

Today in choir, we were put into our ah whatever it is, singing voice type or whatever. 4 years ago I was an alto but now apparently I'm a metzo or mezzo or however you spell it. I don't know what this means and I don't like it.

doctor whooo

Lately I've been really, more then usual obsessed with Doctor Who. Not a very good thing to become obsessed with. It's an all-encompassing obsession. Because you watch Doctor Who, you think, that David Tennant guy is neat, so you go and watch everything he's in- Blackpool, Casanova, anything you can get your hands on, and then he hosts this Friday Night Project show and so you spend hours watching this just because he's hosting it, and then you go and watch Torchwood and like it even though it's just a lot of sex and drama and over-acting but man, that John Barrowman, that Captain Jack Harkness, he's good-looking, what else does he do? So the next 3 hours you spend watching Barrowman singing and then watching the Friday Night Project again, and now you really want to buy Barrowman's albums. Then you go and watch the episode of The Weakest Link with the Who cast in it. And when you're watching anything else Russel T. Davies has created, just for kicks, it's when you know something is wrong.
Anyway. I have this thing where I like to watch things in order. I realize I cannot do this for Doctor Who. There are hundreds and hundreds of episodes. So I'm watching a few Four arcs and re-watching Nine and Ten. For instance, tonight I decide to watch Nine (I LOVE NINE) and want to start from the beginning, and I'm like, oh, not Rose (the epi not the girl), I er just watched that one a few months ago. And The End of The World is the Doctor bitching about humans I think mostly. So I'll watch the Unquiet Dead, for Dickens for the first Gwen appearance. I just read a Dickens novel. Well. Cliff Noted most of it. Great Expectations. It was alright.
Hmm. So I'll watch Unquiet Dead and then maybe switch back to Ten for The Doctor's Daughter. I've been rewatching Series 4, too, and here's the thing: I'm all i wanna watch the good ones like the doctor's daughter and the unicorn and the wasp but I need to watch them in orrrdderr so I watch everything up till then and then I'm all meh.
I have one main problem with Doctor Who but my arms hurt from the desk digging into them as I type so later on I will adress this problem.

lately

About a week and a half ago my English teacher said the 22nd is the last day she'll accept latework. No problem says I who has many overdue papers, I shall just do one a day and have them all done by Friday. Voila. Well, I did not do that. And now it's thre 21st and and I've got 2 Prose Models essays, 1 on The Illustrated Man, 1 5 page Research Paper, and 1 Personal Statement which I kind of wrote, and this is not counting the Argumentative essay that was due on Tuesday. Goddamn. I just keep telling myself I can do this. Yeah, that'll work.
When I panic and get all procrastinatey like this, also, weird, Firefox is not going all procrastinatey is not a word but apparently latework is not a word. Well no, yes it is now. Oh Firefox. Anyway. When I panic, I cling to things and get obsessed very easily and sometimes it's food or a TV show or whatever but this time it's Doctor Who. And I'm utterly obsessed. And this is the kind of obsession you don't want because it's such a large fandom. You've got to watch the new series and the old series and then you need to watch everything else David Tennant's been in and Catherine Tate and so you watch Tate's comedy work and then it's back to DT and then you're watching the Friday Night Project with David Tennant and then with John Barrowman and then you've got to listen to John Barrowman's music and read his books and then you're watching other TV shows Russel T Davies has done, that's the guy that brought the show back in 2003, and when you find yourself trolling Youtube for the UK episodes of Queer as Folk at 11:00 at night you think something's wrong. Arghh. So maybe I'm a little obsessed.
I'm home for lunch right now, well techinically school lunch started 5 minutes ago but I leave my 4th hour aide class like 12 minutes early, nobody notices me. I'm having Cheezits, a water bottle, I'm gonna have some icecream, and I have a frozen coffee that I forgot about this morning melting so I can bring it to 5th hour with me.
Heather's not at school today, I think she's at home typing up all her essays she hasn't done. Heather is a clever girl. Damn. I really do have to write like 5 papers by tomorrow. Shitshitshitshitshitshitshit. Fuuck.

100th post

So this my 100th post on this blog. Bah. I bitch a lot.
Like I have to write like 5 papers by Friday or I'll fail this class but I'll probably fail anyway and instead of writing said papers what am I doing? Watching Doctor Who. I love this show.
Today I was like 20 minutes late for math class and like always I keep my head down and struggle with these stupid math problems and so I don't look around I don't know anybody and I've never made eye contact with the teacher. Then I hear the teacher telling a student, It's a TARDIS- that's Time And Relative Dimension In Space and I look up and he's got this cardboard stand-up of the TARDIS from Doctor Who and I listen as he explains the show to a student and I'm just sitting there smiling and laughing. I didn't know my badass math teacher was a Who fan. Now if only he didn't hate my guts. I suppose I could show up for math class once and a while. Anyway, I need today's shirt.woot on the same vein of thought- Doctor Who. Just check it out. 'm about to watch 'Robot Part Two' the one where he just becomes Tom Baker and ohdearlord I love Tom Baker. Like, almost as much as Eccleston and Tennant. Lord. He's amazing. And I've figured it out- his companion are there to get into trouble and then the Doctor can save them that's all their there for.
God.
