at dad's

So I've spent most of my evening here at father's making Beatles Sims and then taking pictahs of them. And so I'm doing a blog story thingy on the sim beatles. Dunno what to call it though. thebeatleassims...no that looks like the beatles ass ims. Mhm. Will ponder it over night while the screenshots upload. Sigh. To bed now.
...
I have I Think Therefore I Rock and Roll stuck in my head. 'To be or not to be, I don't care. The question is, are you alive out there?' is pretty good- senior quote good enough? 'It don't take much, just heart and soul, I think, therefore, I rock and roll.' I can't help loving this song.

aw damn

At dad's. It sucks. Well because of the usual being left alone bit, right, I'm tired of it but no way around it, really. Also he won't take me to get Harry Potter tickets. Damn. Fuck. I'm knitting my tie, ordered some socks (they better be here), have Quidditch goggles, have skirt, need shirt, and am gonna make a ribbon/hair/bow/headband thing with Gryf colors. Should be all right.
My heart's been acting up lately. Jesus. This should be the 'many injures of AJ' blog now. There's an accidental bruise on my leg that's just turned a lovely yellow/purple mix, and Vincent Van Gogh won't come off my arm. An er temp. tattoo of him anyway. He's mostly off now. It's not really an injury though. Just sort of annoying.

I've been playing a lot of Sims 3. Check my other blog...I think it's http://these-are-my-sims.blogspot.com/ for the Legacy I've started. I'm gonna post it after I'm done here. I loove it. Last week I was all, argh I has to go to my father's soon then I remembered the Sims 3 and got all excited.

I don't think my dad likes me because I am smart. I mean. I'm not like uber-smart, but I am clever, if I do say so myself (and I do) and also I tend to ramble off facts. Like the Coors light one. Or the Van Gogh Didn't Cut Off His Own Ear one. I think it annoys him his only daughter is a weird, smart, Harry Potter- (and other strange things-) obsessed, no-friended ('cept for Heather (hi Heather)), sort-of-tomboyish, t-shirt-wearing freak. Who knits and crochets. And wears bows and ribbons. I don't care.

Today Dad and Blake and Sandy went to the beach and I was all, ergh beach, so instead Dad gave me money to get lunch and so I wandered down to Jo-Ann's (bought duct tape for a duct-tape purse and red and gold ribbon) then called Heather, we met up at McDonald's, then headed to Starbucks. We decided we shouldn't watch Harry Potter 5 and knit our scarves so we did. I liked 5. But 2 and 6 are my favorite books. 2 because awesome, right? and actually, I used to freakin' love 3 before the movie ruined it for me. The movie was awful. And 4 and 5 were always very moody and angsty and in 6, he's not nearly as angry and hate-filled. Harry, I mean. 6 is interesting.

Ok right now I'm posting my Legacy, so read if you want, I don't give a damn.

friday, friday

I finished my capulet and it's nice but honestly, I don't think I'll ever wear it. Since I am not going to the Winter Ball, I am pretty sure. I'm feeling pretty lazy, so I'll just have mom return the dress. Man, I'm a dork or whatever...
So now I'm crocheting a blanket because I learned how to make a granny square (thanks Mary) and I've got all this yarn I bought to make a sweater but I don't wanna make a sweater now. And this milk yarn cowl/neckwarmer I'm doing. This yarn is the best.
For Blake I'm going to make Bender Bending Rodrigez, from Futurama. I am thinking I will make a Zoidberg one, too, to send aaalll the way to Florida for Kody (older brother), but I'm not sure he would appreciate such a gesture. Navy, and all that. Maybe I will make it for him and give it to him if he ever comes to visit and be all, Oh you can have it if you want, yeah. He gave me Doctor Who and Tek Jansen comics for Christmas. I gave him a book on Buddhism. Haven't talked to him in a while, hmm...he might get shipped to a little island called Diego Garcia, which is like Hawaii if most of it was a military base, so that's pretty cool. Mhmm.
Maybe I'll go play the sims now. I brought Apartment Life to install onto my dad's computer.
Or, I've been meaning to watch a show called Northern Exposure, let's see if I can find it online. That, or Inkheart, or one of those Bruce Campbell horror movies I keep forgetting the name of. Evil Dead? I watched the first one, it's good.

horror of all horrors

The Sims 3, for which I have been patiently awaiting since God-knows-when (and mom owes me as a Christmas gift) has been delayed to be released! It was going to go out on, like, the 12th of Feb and NOW they're setting it back, I dunno how long. Damndamndamn.
On the bright side, I got some yarn yesterday in a 99 cent bag at Goodwill. Some sensations novelty stuff- this terribly awful but somehow endearing blue and orange puffy weird stuff, some variageted pink sparkly wierd stuff, some pale green softribbon type and some Peaches 'n Cream yarn. Whooot. For. Yarrrrn.
Now I'm all bored and I'm trying to make grocery bags and a shawl (for the ball I probably won't be going to because I am lame. if somebody asks me, yeah, if not, no, stay home watch quantum leap.) and socks and mittens and...oh, right, a pillow or something with 'fuck cancer' stitched onto it with a chart I found on theanticraft. When I learn how to switch colors.
My shoes are falling apart. I need some new shoes. I've got this novel idea- buy stuff made in america. Which narrows my shoe choice down to, like, 70 % percent of New Balance shoes. Everybody else is outscourced.
I'm going to get some Doritos, a glass of Dr. Pepper, and go to my room to watch the Drew Carey show and play around with yarn.
