I got my tuner today. And so now I'm all tuned up and everything so what I'm playing is starting to sound like what I want it too. I'm getting quite good at Imagine and Something. I want to learn, uh, I Want to Hold Your Hand or the like, you know. Uh. All My Loving. ROCKY RACCOON would be so fun to play! and sing.
So just a few minutes ago I was on the couch playing Imagine and mom says, wow, it's starting to sound like something and at first I am slightly miffed because a) i did not know she was listening, I kind of get into it, singing/mumbling and ignoring numb fingertips and b) it was sort of insulting but also, cool, and then she brought up getting me lessons for Christmas. which honestly i'd never thought about. so that would be really cool.
and my fingertips and still slightly number. It's the F and A that get my index finger. ergh.
Also today I ran into a door. Sort of. kinda. It more like hit me in the face as I was trying to walk through the doorway. and slammed my glasses up against my face. and into my eye. there is a cut above my eye. and my glasses are all wonky. so, yeah, excitement.
right now I'm searching the interwebs for Beatles tabs and whatnot..I started playing some guitar ones for a while before I realized it. lol

todayy
Things That Have Happened Today in No Particular Order:
- Coming to school today, having awful time, late already. In our locker, (me and H's locker) we have a little white board. She had written an arrow to a picture of the Beatles below it with 'RINGO!' sideways pointing to Ringo. It made my day. :D
- Got my new glasses. I like them. Seeing sharply, very nice.
- apparently also breaking my ipod oh shit shit shit... Woah. I was trying to extract files to Xavier's notes files (Xavier is my ipod) and it froze so I tried to close it and THEN THE DESKTOP DISAPEARED and so I tried to minimize everything to find anything out and THAT WAS ABAD IDEA and then so I opened up ctrl-alt-dlt and double-clicked itunes and opened that up, ejected my ipod, and then shut down the computer and now all is well...hopefully.
- okay related to that thing that just happened, I found a thing where you can put books on itunes so I've got Sense and Sensibility on there (just testing it out really) and THEN I got all the free bits of With Strings Attached, the fantasy epic Beatles fanfiction novel and am trying to put it on there when it froze my computer. Totes worth it though. I love With Strings Attached. Trying again.
- Blake gave me a guitar pick to use on my ukulele. Makes it twang funny. Need a light pick, I think, since this was Blake's he used on his guitar or his bass guitar..
- watched the Office and Andy playing Rainbow Connection on the banjo. Now want to play Rainbow Connection on ukulele. Why are there so many songs about rainbows and what's on the other siiide...
- ugh, my glasses are freaking me out sometime..
- the first 21 chapters of With Strings Attached on now on my ipod. YAYYAY. When I finish reading these I'll pay the 3 bucks to download the whole thing off the internet...
- Beatles BOOTLEGS. awesomnesss.
i'm shaking, better be off to bed
but not before getting really obsessed with these beatlegs. grr.

So I'm gonna do NaNoWriMo, national novel writing month, and IT'SGONNABEAWESOME.
Also I was talking to a guy on the Teen chat on Ravelry, another Beatles fan like me, and he said he was learning Beatles songs on the uke. So uhm. I just ordered a ukulele. I knoww. I spend too much money. But I really wanna play music. So. That's what I'm gonna do. :D I'm excited. I bought a pretty cheap one- for 40 dollars. Right, I know. BUT. MUUUSIC. Gonna learn this thing.

at dad's
So I've spent most of my evening here at father's making Beatles Sims and then taking pictahs of them. And so I'm doing a blog story thingy on the sim beatles. Dunno what to call it though. thebeatleassims...no that looks like the beatles ass ims. Mhm. Will ponder it over night while the screenshots upload. Sigh. To bed now.
...
I have I Think Therefore I Rock and Roll stuck in my head. 'To be or not to be, I don't care. The question is, are you alive out there?' is pretty good- senior quote good enough? 'It don't take much, just heart and soul, I think, therefore, I rock and roll.' I can't help loving this song.

procrastinating
I've got this essay that was due today that I don't really wanna due and then email to my teacher. I'm very lazy. And tired. and i wanna knit. Damndamndamn.
I love Help!. It is less awesome than A Hard Day's Night but still pretty awesome. It has the Beatles so it can't be that bad, ha. And there's lots of George and random George-ness. I want to make a video compilation of the weird things he's doing in that movie- srsly, I'm gonna learn Windows Movie Maker so I can do that. Argh.
Terrible day. Need to watch AHDN or listen to Rubber Soul or With the Beatles or something, make it all better (every day, it's getting better, it's getting better all the tiime)
I was in the school library in advisory today- Can't Buy Me Love came on the stereo system, ever so faintly- but I picked up on it and started mouthing the words and tapping my foot along. Never figured out if it was a cd or just the radio.
hour later: i've decided I need a Beatles shirt. I'd kill for this adorable one in a adult's size. A is for Apple, B is for Beatles! but alas, only a toddler's shirt. I want the Help! motif thing on black but all it comes on is white- and I don't want like the generic The Beatles black one, youknow. This one is Help on blue. OMG. Beatles Shoelaces. Yellow Submarine in Japanese! Aha! Help on Dark blue in Women's, even. Wonder if there's a size chart? Shirtneeeed.

01 October 2009
hello, afternoon
Suddenly, it is like 4 something and I didn't even notice. I was knitting. And now it's 4:15. Day? maybe not wasted. I have a yellow hat that is funky-looking and a bit too big for my head.
Today I also found, or rather got around to finally listening to, BEATALLICA. Which is a band who mixes Beatles and Metallica songs and oh yeah they are FRIGGING AMAZING and awesome and kinda my new favorite band now. ALL YOU NEED IS BLOOD. And like that.
My feet, they are cold. I have to go about town for alive after 5 but I'm not, like, majorly looking forward to it cos there's like, people out there and I'd have to put shoes on and stuff, and oh I've got Great Yarns tonight, too, that'll be fun. I love hanging out with the knitters/crocheters. Which usually is just me and Mary and sometimes Heather. A little lonely.
The yarn I dyed last night- so I first did grape and it turned out awful, truly, just pretty bad, color wise and it didn't even dye all the way through. So I put some red KoolAids I had- fruit punch and black cherry, I think- in with it and zapped the yarn a few more times, now it's this kind of purple/red mottled color, it's very nice. Not sure what to make with it though? I'm starting some armwarmers with this stuff I dyed ages ago, sorta a pink/red, and I'm guessing the pattern as I go but I'll have to learn something when it comes around to the thumbhole, since these are on DPNs.
Borrreedd. hnn. I will have to change my pants before Alive After Five. And find some shoes. Combat boots or Cons? not Beatle Boots. Although. Well. Maybe Beatle boots. I could pull them off. I look ridiculous in them-but they sound wonderful, this nice clik-clak, heel-toe sort of thing, and I feel spectacular in them. Boots do wonders for confidence. But my poor heels- blisters, all the time, or pre-emptive BandAids.
Oh hello, thank you Amazon. I looked up Beatallica and it reccomends someone called Lez Zeppelin. They're an all-female Led Zeppelin cover band. AWESOME. My new heroes. I want to start a- oh, this here is my secret unattainable dream- all-female Beatles cover band. Yeah. I know. It's ridiculous but there are none and I really want to but I can't play an instrument or sing, really, but has that ever stopped anyone? I secretly really want to do this but nobody knows and, sigh,
Holy shit, Beatles cover band 1964- epic. I'm watching one of their videos and they have them down- down to the way John stands as he plays his guitar and the way George taps the beat with one foot, then the other, on and off like that.
Later, 8:30: At times like this- I wish I had some real-life real friends. Since I'm completely fucking alone. Blake is at his friends house and I'm home, so terribly alone. And heartbroken and alone, did I mention so. fucking. alone? Maybe pizza will make this better. I doubt it. Fuck. SO bored and lonely.

really frigging bored
It is cold enough for long sleeves and sweatervests. I like sweatervests. Mhmm, warm.
Today after school I walked down to St. Vinnie's. Bought a book by Al Franken on how evil Republicans are. Yay. And at Jo-Ann's I bought some natural-colord Paton's wool COS IT IS DYEING TIME. I HAVE RESISTED THE URGE FOR TOO LONG. And I bought some lime-green soft acrylic stuff that was on SALE and some size 7 dpns because a) i has no size 7 dpns b) i think I will make some armwarmers so I need some dpns and c) i had a coupon I needed to use so, yah, dpns. Instead of saying, dee-pee-enns, I have taken to pronouncing the letters, so it sounds like 'duhpins.' Yeah so I'm bored. And at teh grocery store I bought Grape KoolAid, for dyeing, at the ridiculous high price of 3/1.00. srsly. and some chicken strips, for Secret Dinner. Hello Secret Dinner. MWAHAH.
I keep getting distracted..I need to start by Doctor Who scarf what yarn cost sooo much, and then get to work on the little Beatles amigurumi I want to do. Using this pattern to make the bodies, then embellishing and whatnot afterwards. And I haven't decided what costumes yet. Like Ed Sullivan suits, all boring and grey and hair cuts, or Sgt. Pepper with the colors and the telling-them-apart and facial hair? I look forward, not, to stitching all that hair.Ah well. Mhm. Anyway..

today, being a dork in many ways
In advisory today, instead of hanging around going nothing, I asked to go to the library and was told I'd have to take the pass and come back before class ends. I was like, oh okay. Then I just left. And didn't come back. In the library- I was in the armchair thing, reading In His Own Write, and half of it is WTH LENNON and the other half is ahh lol. Anyway- it's the two books together, some thing they put out when he died, I think, and it's a got a bad pic of Lennon on the front, but yah, anyway, so I'm reading this, or trying to anyway, and one of the teachers- the PE teacher ( also, they guy who did the Bantams website and then they told him he didn't have the job anymore so he said, then no more website, and he deleted all of his, so, basically, he's a BAMF) comes up to be and asks, "do you like john lennon stuff or the beatles?" and so I was like, "err all the beatles yeah." and then we had sort of a conversation about books on John Lennon before he wandered off. Too bad. I would totally have loved to continue geek-freaking over the Beatles with him. I already knew he was a fan- I had him as a PE teacher a few years back so it became obvious when all he played was Beatles stuff.
Instead of going to 4th hour- my voice is shot, anyway- I went to the library and printed off coloring sheets. Batman, Land Before Time, Harry Potter, Jack Sparrow, the Lion King, and two Beatles ones (which exist. and are weird. google it.) and then I spent lunch and 5th hour coloring in Beatles in wacky colors. Ringo has blue hair. And Paul has pick socks. I get so friggin' bored sometimes.
Also, buying things on Amazon? Too easy. Right now I'm getting Anthology 3, Lennon: Lennon Legend, and Paul's albums: Flaming Pie and Band on the Run. wanted to get I Me Mine but it's like 10 bucks and that's like way over my price limit now- I made an expection for Anthology Tres cos it's 2 cds! for 15 dollars. But Lennon was 5 and Flaming Pie is like 1 and BotR is like 4. Yeah I know. I spend too much money. Beatles obsession costs way too much.

200th post, weekend
Aha, 200 posts. All of them, pointless and rambling.
I was pretty sick yesterday- in bed all day and then asleep for 12 hours. Feeling better. Still Beatles-crazy. Today I found the Powerpuff Girls episode Meet the Beat-Alls that's filled with Beatles references it's crazy awesome.
Killing time till woot goes live, alala.
I love Anthology. The acoustic of Strawberry Fields Forever and grr, the, the, holy shit, Day in the Life take from Anthology 2 is effing scary- at one point the they just make a fucking ruckus and again at the end of Penny Lane, weird panting noises and some random noise- and Paul says, "That's a suitable ending I think." and at the end of Strawberry Fields Forever, demo or take 4 or something, the whole 'cranberry sauce' is repeated over and over and it's not I BURIED PAUL, it's definetly cranberry sauce.
Knitting a yellow hat. For kicks.
Watching American Dad, they had this bit- Mind Quad, this guy who didn't have arms or legs but had mind powers. IT NEEDS TO HAPPEN AS A REAL SHOW. Like, like that show Ben Stiller did that had one episode- err, with Jack Black and Owen Wilson, ahahh, I forget it now, but Owen Wilson was Jack Black's motorycle and Jack Black had an expanding brain at night and the government was after them, fuckfuck...it was err- HEAT VISION AND JACK. Very weird, but extremely awesome.
Oh I should--find something to watch and knit. And eat icecream. Nothing else to do.
I have watched Help! and A Hard Day's Night way too many times to count. I know all/most of the lines. "The fire brigade got me head out of some railings once." "Did you want them to?" "Not really, I put it there when I wasn't using it. You can see alot of the world from railings." RINGO LOVE! "What's that hairstyle called?" "Arthur." "How did you find America?" "Turn left at Greenland."
Goodnight then.

t-shirts
I need a Beatles tshirt. Or a John Lennon one. Cos his birthday is on the 9th. And I'm the 8th Of October. As another sidenote- I have the same birthday as Johnny Ramone. JOHNNY EMMEREFFING RAMONE. He's dead too isn't he? mhm. I like the Ramones. That's a band I love to see live. They make NOISE.
Anyway I was leaning toward a Sgt Pepper Lonely Hearts Club Band shirt but I also like this one, can't link it sorreh, that's got, WAR IS OVER on the front and IF YOU WANT IT on the back. And the 'YOU ARE HERE' and 'THIS IS NOT HERE' shirts that Lennon wore. Fucking hell. I'm way too obsessed, bollocks.
now I'm on Cafepress cos I have a five dollar off coupon. it's hard to search for things on that sight- can't just look up 'the beatles' nonono that would be too friggin easy. too difficult man. oof, i found a 'john and paul and george and ringo' shirt on cafepress. WIN

mwahha
Blake is hating me right now because I somehow got 'When I'm Sixty-Four' stuck in his head, although god knows how, it's not even on Rock Band, so I told him he could borrow my iPod for "some good Beatles music" and put on Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. That doesn't have When I'm Sixty Four on it, right? Today I was listening to Magical Mystery Tour. Damn. 'Your Mother Should Know' is so fucking catchy. oh oh your mother should know. I was walking somewhere with Heather but she was locking up her bike and I was singing and then I stopped and said, "fucking Paul McCartney." Writer of damn catchy songs that don't mean a fucking thing apparently. HELLO GOODBYE PAUL? I love the Hello Goodbye video tho. Random dancing! Shimmy-shaking George! Sgt. Pepper costumes! Grr.
The school called me mom today and told of my absences so she was kinda pissed I guess, so after entering 9 things knitted/crocheted/spun into the fair, I ran off to Arby's with Heather to avoid mom. And then we sat at Arby's for two hours, talking. She's pretty cool. We talk about fanfiction well together. Yaoi stuff. Good stuff.
Dude man. Blake's playing with my iPod- I had him on Sgt.Pepper but now he's watching the rooftop concert! I was like how'd you find that and he's like, it was labelled rooftop concert durr. Ahf. Kthen. I love that he's as Beatle-obsessed as I am.
So now I'm reading Beatles Fanfiction. Because it exists. And it is slightly creepy. But fun. :D
ETA; damn of all damns the Beatles ff site I'm at isn't WORKING this is fucking tragic.

But fun. :D
ETA; damn of all damns the Beatles ff site I'm at isn't WORKING this is fucking tragic.

i taste blood
Mostly cos I am self-destructive in a very slight way which is that I bite and chew and pick at my lips and it's disgusting to talk about but the general idea is that my lips usually look pretty cut up and swollen and red and yeah, they are. Anyway. Also the only other self-destructive thing I do is the thumb/fingernail thing. That's it.
I'm on amazon right now? thinking about buying Beatles Anthology 2 and the both of John's books that are one book together. Hnn. And A Hard Day's Night. I have it on my iPod but I need, like, a hard copy of it. Grr.
I'm slowly infecting my family with the Beatles. It's my mom now. She said she had "that stupid octopus song" stuck in her head all weekend. We then were all 'STUPID oh well kinda but YEAH'. And then she was Ringo-bashing ("he's the lame one right?") so we started to defend him but she was like, dude you guys make fun of Ringo ALL THE TIME lay off.
I made muffins today. Since I missed the lab in Foods. They are Chocochocochipmuffins. Mucho delish.
I keep singing 'and in the end, the love you take is equal to the looove you maaake.' My senior quote is going to be something Beatles-related. Or something Lennon. Like 'All we are saying is, give peace a chance.' or like 'time you enjoy wasting was not wasted.' I have a had a page full of Lennon quotes on my fridge for months now, even before I got obsessed with his music. Huh. I like 'living is easy with eyes closed, misunderstanding all you see.' Mhmm. SOMETHING (in the way she moves..) gosh I need a life or something.
Or Anthology 2 and A Spaniard in the works/In His Own Write. AMWAHA.
eta: god I just love Paul's voice. Like. uhm crazy sometimes. Ah. What's weird is he talks like, i dunno how to say it, an old person. When he was younger. Srsly. Listen. AND HEAR. but uh, he is ridiculously sexy I think. Damn. I am too obsessed. grr.

telephone conversations, aka my father is a jerk
Conversation between me and my dad on the phone about 3 o clock:
Me: Hey dad you should take me to get Beatles rock band.
Dad: Like today?
Me: haha yes today, like right now maybe
Dad: well I'm at Sandy's watching a movie
Me: you said you'd take me, so when can you take me?
Dad: in a few hours
Me: what.
Dad: and my truck is at home anyway, so your mom better take you to get it
Me: FUCK. WHATEVER. -hang up and stomp inside to bitch about it on blog-
AND THEN like a few minutes ago, here's a conversation with mom:
Mom: hey where are you?
Me: HOME grr
Mom: I've got the money for you when you go and get it, so
Me: he's not taking me. Well in a few hours apparently
Mom: what?
Me: yeah he's at his girlfriends watching a movie, and he can't come pick me up cos his truck is at home.
Mom: let me check. (her work is right across the street from dad's house, it used to be our house, anyway) Alyssa his truck is not there, but I think that's his girlfriend's truck.
Me: what
Mom: yeah I'm not sure why he told you that but I don't see his truck here
Me: -close to tears-
Yeah so apparently he's not only a jerk but a liar. Mom's gonna take me after she gets off work, at 5:30. And she just called to tell me to totally call him out on his lie, I guess I'll have to, he's just a dick most of the time.
On another note, I really like the Magical Mystery Tour album.

WIN
I talked to my mom rationally today and YES. I AM GETTING THE BEATLES ROCK BAND HOLY SHIT. Arghaah. Sounds of happiness. Well. Mom's giving me 60 and dad's giving me 60 and I'm putting in 40 and that's enough for the value pack at Wal-Mart tomorrow and OH DEAR GOD. Blake's like, err if i help you set up the xbox can i play the guitar? and i am like HECK YES I WANNA PLAY DRUUUMMMS. I'VE SPENT HOURS WATCHING RINGO STARR FOR THIS EXACT MOMENT. I do feel slightly guilty about downloading all the albums off of youtube, ahah, but not too bad, shockingly. Mostly cos I think I am getting the cds for Christmas since Rock Band is mah birthday present (also me and mom are going on a girl's out weekend or something etc like that, yeh) and the videos are bothersome to listen to since you can only listen to the album in bits- but I like just listening to it, it's glorious. So far I'm really loving Sgt. Pepper. And Revolver. Today, in Foods, I started singing, 'what would you do if I sang out of tune, would you stand up and walk out on me?' beside me, Heather said: no. 'well lend me your ears and I'll sing you a song and I'll try not to sing out of key OH I get by with a little help my friends, MHMM I get high with a little help from my friends..' and shelby was like, dude please tell me you didn't get that from Across the Universe, and I was like, no lol Sgt. Pepper.
Oh man oh man I don't even know how I'm gonna go to sleep/school tomorrow. DUUUDE. Too excited for video game. This is not very me at alls. I've never been excited about a video game like this before, it's unreal. Blake is weirded out by it. Ooer.
I've figured out this video/ipod thing. CLEVER AJ. Yeh, if they're not already converted you've got to convert them. And it makes doubles, gah, which is unhappy-making so sometime I've got to sift through all the doubles and find it.
My German teacher, Hays, who is a total Beatlesfreak (like she's got these AWESOME Bealtes figurines in the back- Ed Sullivan era- and the picture where they're standing in the wind, circa Let It Be i think SIGNED, and by the door a framed pic of them getting of the plane, and today I noticed she also has framed 'HELP!' and 'A Hard Day's NIght' records. KICK SOME ASS, HAYS) and today I turned in a extra credit thing where we find videos online with German in them. Well, I found Paul TRYING to sing Get Back in German trying, cos he can't actually and randomly says stuff I guess. Omg. I just watched the concert where they played on the roof- ahh I love the Beatles. At the end where the police are like, hmmpf hmpf, and Paul is saying stuff like, 'get back loretta, you been playing on rooftops again, you're gonna get arrested, get back home!' and then John says, 'on behalf of the band I just would like to say I hope we passed the audition.' and Ringo thanking his wife for clapping, 'thanks mo.' Ohhh. Beatles. LOVE. I got one of the books I ordered today- it was shipped to dad's, weird, but anyway, it's mostly focusing on John & Paul so far, I hope it does some on George and Ringo eventually, even though thanks to 'Liverpool 8', I know most of Ringo's life story, ha. Also. The book was written in 1980, a little outdated, so I should pick up a newer one soon enough. At least it's got the Lennon dying bit. Oh yes you bet I cried when I read the thing in the beginning about him dying. WHY. I know, I know. There are many things to be sad about and nothing to do about them all the time but I can't help it.

errggh mom
I told mom of my wish to buy The Beatles Rock Band and she was like, oh honey they're dead. AHHA lol. No but the game, mom it looks super awesoomme. And she didn't think this was a good idea. Like as an early birthday present thing. Trying to convince her will be tricky. She doesn't approve of me spending money. BUT I NEEDS IT.
also I am trying to put videos on my iPod again, this is such an ordeal it's probably not worth it. tiring.

my mother is a space cadet
So I just talked to my mom (she's stuck in traffic and will be later then she already expected- LATER Then LATER apparents) and I was like, dude so what poster did you get? 'the abbey road one' she says. I was lol really? I liked yelled NOT ABBEY ROAD, NOT THE ABBEY ROAD ONE. so she gets abbey road, haha, she's a dork, but it's all right, the Beatles are the Beatles.
We ordered a pizza (cos mom is goinna be home later) from Pizza Hut, who have a bigger 'special instructions' box and we put: knock to the tune of the star imperial march. I really hope they do.
eta: Did not. I tipped anyway. he was cute. :D

the beatles rock band, i am needing it
It doesn't matter I've never played a game like that before or that I technically don't even own that game console or that it's 140 bucks or any of those, really, I need the Beatles rock band. I'm going to ask my mom if she'll go halfsies on it with me, or at least pay for some it for early birthday present, because I need it so bad. And Blake says if I get it, he'll play with me. :D I was like, 'i'm not even very good at games like this, it comes with a guitar and a drum set' and he says, 'don't worry, you can just be ringo'. Haha. He wants to be John. The super expensive one comes with some kickass guitar replicas of whatever John&Paul&George played and the pearl finish 'The Beatles' drums of Ringo's while the cheaper one comes with just drums and guitar and microphone and yes, I've got to buy it. Now it's just a matter of not buying it all by myself. And dad says if I get it I can borrow his xbox.
Jimmy Fallon was talking about Beatles Rock Band, and I saw this joke coming from a mile away but I still laughed, "There are three levels, yeah. Hard, medium, and Ringo."
My mom's in Seattle and since she's coming home late wanted to get me something, so I told her to get In His Own Write by John Lennon and apparently, her boyfriend, Curtis, said something about Lennon having 'an attitude, and not a very good one.' Well shut up, Curtis. He's like my idol. And anyway. In His Own Write was before he was all Yoko Ono and long hair, not like there was anything wrong with it. Blargh. They didn't have it, so she called and was like,
they don't have it, anything else you want? How about a George Harrison album?' I was like, 'dude WHAT George Harrison album?' cos I really want Let It Roll or some other one, but she didn't say, so I was like, 'how about John Lennon music? Imagine, Lennon Legend?' and she asked the guy for a Beatles CD and I was like NO. JOHN. LENNON. (too embaressed to ask for Ringo Starr, aha) and then she switched topics and was like, how about a poster? 'FINE. What poster?' and she listed off a few and so I told her ANYTHING BUT THE ABBEY ROAD ONE. So I think she's getting the Let It Be one but I hope not. Oh well. It's better then the black and white hazy pictures I printed off the school comps a week ago.
See I look at this limited edition bundle of Beatles rock band stuff and it hurts it's so awesome. Like. The bass and the drum set and the guitarr. Nnr. But the best I can hope for is the value pack and that's awesome enough. Damn. Breathe in, breathe out, i fucking need this game...
