BOOTS

I have a thing for boots, I've got my combat boots and TODAY i got in the mail my BEATLE BOOTS. They are black and my size perfectly and a bit difficult to actually put on but I LIKE THEM. One issue. I will link you to someone you has said it perfectly, but quote anyway: "George Harrison laid it all out in black and white during the classic open of the film; "A Hard Days Night" when, while being chased through the streets of Notting Hill by a mob of randy schoolgirls (and boys if you watch closely), he fell flat on his ass. Of all the Beatles' accomplishments, perhaps the most impressive, but overlooked, was their collective ability to run in Beatle Boots." This is true. Serious. And that's one of my favorite parts of that movie.

Err I was rifling through my bureau last night, (right bureau niiice) looking for things I've knitted/crocheted to enter in the fair, when I find The Beatles Anthology: 1. It didn't like, magically appear there or anything, but I bought it yeeaarrs ago at a yard sale, on the basis that a) it was the school yard sale and I helped out, so basically anything I wanted was mine 2) they're the Beatles and while I didn't know who they were I knew who they were, you know? Oh wait. a and 2? Oh well. Anyway. So I found this. And it's cool. So yeah. Actually I had thought I lost it, when we moved. Well apparently I've lost the little booklet, damn it.

Oh I'm at dad's this weekend and Blake's off to some sort of boy scout camp. Much frolicking and homoerotic undertones, I'm sure; those boys scout camps are mad with the homoerotic undertones. Me and Dad are alone this weekend. We are going to a nearby fair. FUN.

Here is a fact about me- I am jumpy. So when my phone rings- "AHHHH!" or watching the toaster "----HOLY SHIT", when Blake suddenly opens his door and comes into the living room "ARH!" selecting a song on my iPod and my iPod taking a second "EEH!" and so my phone, sitting beside the keyboard, just rang, so I yell and wave my arms around. WHY DID I WAVE MY ARMS AROUND.

  1. Anthology 1 is a good album. I particularly like the bad takes of 'One After 909', they're funny.
