That reminds me. I've got to make espresso for tomorrow...
ah I got my John Lennon book in the mail. Of course now I'm very meh on Lennon and OOER on all the others, but good luck finding a bio of Ringo, lol. It's got a nice cover, though, the book. LENNONFACE WATCHA. As opposed to the hardcover missing-it's-paper-cover Shout! The Beatles in Their Generation that I've got. OH. NOW I NEED GEORGE AND PAUL BOOK YES. -goes off on amazon- And I want Lennon's In His Own Write but not a newer one with the Yoko Ono forword. I try to not hate Yoko Ono cos John Lennon and she were in love and LOVE IS ALL YOU NEED. Still. On Sunday- I saw an interview on Entertainment Tonight- some reporter girl, obv from the Beatles generation and fangirly- had this "Beatles reunion", she interviewed Paul and Ringo and Olivia Harrison and Yoko Ono. She was asking dumb, fangirly questions (most people would do the same thing, lol, but she was so very annoying) and Paul and Olivia were mostly putting up with it and going along while Ringo was very mehh and vague answers while Yoko Ono, well, was Yoko Ono. Man. Say what you want about Yoko, but she is friggin' fierce. Srsly. She would cut a bitch. And was this close to that with this reporter chick- some retarted question about John and Yoko justs looks at her like, 'excuse me?' and this lady starts stammering and trying to make sense and I was like, dude, lol. Anyway she had this huge crush on Paul, obvs, and evidently a great dislike for Ringo. Nnr.
What was a I doing. BOOKS. and espresso lol how did bold get on haha. there we go. Oh I am too lazy for book shopping now. All that typing and opening and closing tabs and reading reviews. I want to finish Shout! by tomorrow anyway, wanna start on Lennon: The Definitive Biography. I was reading the back and it said 'completely revised and updated' and srsly, what is there more to update? like, he's dead? so. eh maybe if they had more pictures & info & quotes or something? anyway, looks good. This Shout! book I'm reading seems to favor John and diss Paul a lot and usually, just leave Ringo out of the whole story. Like, he was describing what they did when they weren't recording music- at least 3 pages on John, 2 on Paul, 1 1/2 to George (and even then mostly to his sitar, ha) and literally? a paragraph for Ringo. Awww. Poor Ringo.
