I am a happy mood, it's peculiar. My beatle boots shipped and my combat boots that I wear all the time are falling apart, yo, sup with that? The sole is coming off. Ergh. Hot glue gun fixes most things?
Today I didn't go to 4th hour, shh, it was just that by the time I'd gotten all the way almost over there, I was already like 5 minutes late, and I'd forgotten my music notebook, it's choir yah, and my voice is all cold-y so I went and hid in the school library. I started putting Post-It notes in books, which was super fun. In A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, I put 'THIS is a good book- nice choice!' and on the Darren Shan vampire books, I put 'these books suck- do NOT read' and in two Nicolas Sparks books where the guy dies at the end, I put 'he dies at the end-sorry!' in the front. In the middle of a Sears Roebucks Catelogue from 1927, next to a picture of a 10 gallon hat, I put 'this hat is RIDICULOUS'. I found a book on the Beatles, called A Teenager's Guide to The Beatles, clearly written by some Beatle fangirl (well i'm a fangirl too but, like, i have no delusions on what awful people they were sometimes), very poorly written with some sketchy facts, and it left some stuff out, so I bothered to place a sticky note to inform them. A special paragraph was devoted to Brian Epstein, saying nothing of his sexual preferences or wackyness in general, so I put 'this books fails to mention brian epstein was homosexual & fell in love with john lennon- that's why he wanted to be their manager'. Where it talked about how they recieved their MBEs, it, again, failed to mention something. Naturally I wanted to help. 'they were high when they recieved their awards- lol'.
I'm gonna do more. Very fun. Highlight of day? YES. That and the WHOSE RESPONSIBLE THIS meme over on toplessrobot.com. It's also still very hot here, WHY, it's going into FALL soon and it's like 90 degrees WTF, thanks al gore.
I want to walk down to St. Vinnie's to look at stuff but it might be too hot grr. is my bike in working order i wonder?
